PraBHU NAGARAJ, PhD Candidate, 2018-2022

PRABHU NAGARAJ has over 18 years of experience in industrial product design and development, specializing in machine vision and cloud computation. He is currently pursuing his final year Ph.D at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), examining the impact of RRAM device level variability as an in-memory computational element for Deep Learning Neural Network (DNN) applications. He has 6 scientific publications to his credit relating to construction methodology for look-up table (LUT) based RRAM neuromorphic implementation for deep neural networks accounting for RRAM device level and cycle-to-cycle variability. Prabhu also serves as one of the Directors of ALAI Labs, focusing on design and development of vision based IoT products and solutions (on the cloud and on the edge) for general use daily applications.

DAN JIANG, PhD Candidate, 2019-2023

JIANG DAN received her B.Eng degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2013 and the M.Eng degree in Communications Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2017. Since 2013, she is working as a Product Test Engineer at Silicon Laboratories International on semiconductor product test and data analytics tools development. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D degree at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in the Engineering Product Development (EPD) pillar. Her current research interest includes semiconductor manufacturing yield prediction as well as big data and artificial intelligence for semiconductor process and quality optimization.

Alok Ranjan

Research Fellow

(Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden)

Dr. Alok Ranjan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physics in Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden) where he is developing experimental techniques for the visualization and characterization of advanced nano-electronic devices at the atomic length scales. This is achieved by using the state-of-art aberration corrected transmission electron microscopy (TEM) imaging and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). Prior to joining Chalmers, Alok has been working at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and earlier research works involve the physical and failure analysis of CMOS based gate dielectrics and emerging memory devices, including resistive random-access memory (RRAM) using conduction atomic force microscopy (CAFM), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and TEM techniques. Alok has published more than 25 technical papers, a book chapter, and volunteers as a reviewer for various journals including Applied Physics Letters, Scientific Reports, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces and Microelectronics Reliability.
